Tihomir Novaković, Ph.D.

Tihomir Novaković was born on June 7, 1991. in Sanski Most, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He graduated from the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Novi Sad in 2014 (majoring in Agroeconomics).

In 2016, he completed his master's academic studies at the same faculty (majoring in Agroeconomics). The topic of the master's thesis was: "Application of logistic regression in determining the development of the municipalities of AP Vojvodina".

He enrolled in doctoral studies in 2016 at the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade (majoring in Economics). He defended his doctoral dissertation entitled "Evaluation of technical efficiency using the stochastic marginal production function model in the dairy cattle sector in the Republic of Serbia" in 2023.

In the period from 2016-2017. He was employed at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Novi Sad, as a teaching assistant in the narrow scientific field of Statistics. In September 2017, he was elected to the position of assistant in the narrower scientific field of Quantitative Methods in Agricultural Economics.

In his scientific work so far, Tihomir Novaković has published 35 scientific papers in the field of Agricultural Economics and Statistics as author or co-author and participated in 16 domestic and international conferences with topics from the aforementioned fields. He is a member of the Statistical Society of Vojvodina. He reads, speaks and writes English.
