Bojan Dimitrijevic

Bojan Dimitrijević Ph.D. is an Assistant professor at the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Belgrade for the narrow scientific field of Management, organisation and production economics of business systems of agriculture and food industry.

As a member of the Department of Agricultural Economics at the Chair of Management in Agribusiness, he is involved in teaching and scientific research. As a member of the team he participated in three projects of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia, one project of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Serbia and one international Tempus project.

Since 2011, he has been a member of the team for the project of the Ministry of Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia: "Rural Labour Market and Rural Economy of Serbia - Income Diversification and Poverty Reduction".

In Serbia and abroad he completed several training courses: "Management of Rural Organisations", 2002 in the Federal Republic of Germany; "Food Safety Management System Auditor/Lead Auditor Training Course (Based on ISO 22000:2005)", certified by IRCA, conducted by Nigel Bauer & Associates (United Kingdom), 2010 in Belgrade; "HACCP Team Leader", 2011 in Belgrade and Training of Trainers "Implementation of Food Safety Management System", 2011 in Belgrade, organised by the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ).

He participated in the seminar "Modern Agricultural Technology and Food Security for Developing Countries", held in the People's Republic of China in 2016. He was a member of the European Association of Agricultural Economists - EAAE. He is a long-standing member of the Serbian Association of Agricultural Economists - SAAE, the National Association for the Development and promotion of Organic Production in Serbia - Serbia Organica and the Balkan Scientific Associtaion of Agricultural Economists (BSAAE).

He has been involved in the preparation of several publications, studies, books of proceedings, monographs and textbooks. In 2015, he was appointed as a member of the Working Group of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection for the development of the Rural Development Program "Let's support young people, let's revitalise the village". As an author and co-author, he has published over a hundred papers in monographs, books of proceedings and scientific journals, of which four papers have been published in journals on the SCI list.
